Well, I have not been on here in a while! I am still alive and creating! I just don't have as much time anymore to post on dA. I am going to try and start posting some more tho! But here's a quick update of what I have been up to:
- Graduated highschool
- Taking a year off to work (I am working full time at Tim Hortons)
- Had a showing of my art in a museum
- Still creating lots of new pieces!
I just opened an Etsy account! I am trying to save up for school and what better way to make money than doing something you love! I am slowly listing ACEOs and other drawings that I have done. Please take a look at my shop if you have time! And if there is something you want in my gallery that is not listed, send me a message and I'll sell you it, if I still have it.

Christmas Time!

Well I know I haven't uploaded in forever. I feel very bad. I have a lot of stuff to upload too. But I will slowly try to get up over the Christmas holidays.
Well this year I have asked for lots of art supplies and an art book. I want Masterful Colour by Arlene Steinburg (spelling?) because it looks amazing. I have also asked for the Copic Airbrush (I have been doing lots of marker rendering lately), an electric pencil sharpener, Derwent Metallic coloured pencils and a full set of Derwent Graphic pencils (9B to 9H).
I have most of my Christmas shopping done already too! I have my sister's 2 presents (birthday = Dec 24) and my aunt and uncle. I don't know what I am getting my sister but my aunt and uncle, I am drawing them a picture.
Other News:
I AM FINALLY ORDERING OFF THE INTERNET!
I need a mat cutter so I decided it was time to put in an online order. I am getting the Logan 301s with the circle.oval cutter from ASW. I am also getting some pencil lengtheners from there.
I need a storage box for all on my school artwork. Dick Blick has the cheapest ones so I am getting that from there. I am also throwing in tape for framing, a piece of white Rag matboard (crescent) for framing some of my own pictures and the Prismacolour portfolio 24 set.
I have wanted that prismacolor portfoilo forever. It is on clearance at Blick, so I am finally getting it. I love the stylish sleek look of it.
I am putting in my two orders tomorrow. When Blick updates their site (I want to see if I get a better deal of the week) and when I get my ASW $10 off for finding a cheaper priced item at a different site.
More News:
I have been drawing a lot lately. I am working on a big 10x10 coloured pencil frog drawing and an 8x10 coloured pencil rose drawing. Sketching for school and for myself.
I also started a painting today. I am using a book for this one. It tells you in detail how to make the painting. It looked very interesting so I am trying it. So far, I like it. I am using a 9x12 canvas and Liquitex Acrylic paints.
